PROLOGUE

2011.5.

Two months have passed.

 
I found several flowers have changed their looking  .

"Bleaching? Wrinkled?"

 I have never seen such a strange shape or color until then.

I remembered what my teachers told me in my school days .

"Remember,
 Radioactivity is danger.

Radioactivity breaks and changes your DNA !"

I realized it was genetic damage caused by nuclear fallout .

However most Japanese people were not allow to say "so" in those days.

Some believed that to keep calm was the best help for the people living in Fukushima,
and some believed that to keep silence will serve the best interests of this nation,
and the other believed absolutely safe because of their some scientific knowledge from Japan TV program.
Some old ladies living near my house used to stand chatting on the street
"Do you believe radioactive materials are safe?

Yes, I believe they are absolutely safe!

That is because

 a prestigious professor at a prestigious university said absolutely safe on a TV show."

They insisted nervous is from a lack of scientific understanding and timid is a kind of discrimination.

I listened to their talking but remained silent.

I was afraid of being refused from our community.

but

I decided to tell the truth at that time.
